New with a question!

Hello to you all who read this, I hope you are fine and dandy!

I have just moved to the Yeovil area and would like to own a bug again. Its going to take me a while to get to a position to be able to do this for 2 reasons........first of all, money - I have very little at the moment! secondly, I would like to be able to upkeep the vehicle myself and currently don't have the know how. This is where my question comes in.
Do any of you know any garages/private specialists who work on Beetles in the somerset area? I would like to volunteer my skills at weekends to gain some experience. Other than that, if any of you work on your own vehicles, do you fancy a hand every now and then?

Thats it really, I hope that you can help me in my quest and I look forward to your replies.

Hello, mite be worth putting this on dbs (a vw club in weston) there are a lot more ppl on there, who mite be willing to help
